A couple of hours later, we shook hands and were told someone would call to set up an appointment for measuring and assessing the areas. Good to their word, the measuring was completed, the doors were ordered and we were told to expect the doors to be ready in 8-12 weeks (but probably much sooner).We called and spoke with Lindsay during the last week in March. She told us she had just been looking through orders and saw ours was in. She then set an appointment for April 1st. Unfortunately, it was pouring that day but the guys, Fernando and Nikola, still showed up at the house. They double-checked the measurements and work areas and said they’d be back on the 4th.The guys came on time, were fully setting up shop in the front and back yards, and got to work. They had a little difficulty dealing with our un-squared older home, but did everything to make the doors perfectly level. They took care of all the clean-up, showed us how to use the built-in screens, and test the locks.When we got to the back door, my husband noticed a bend in the aluminum molding which exposed some sharp areas below. Fernando said it must have happened during shipping, but if we wanted to have it replaced, we had to call the office.Friday morning, the 5th, we called the office and spoke to Lindsay who asked that we take a photo of the area and send it to the office, which we did. She said they would review the photo and get back to us with a resolution.Friday, the 12th, we called the office again and got Lindsay. We asked if there were any updates to resolving our issue. She said she couldn’t remember, but someone had said something about it and she looked through some papers. Then Lindsay told us she could set up an appointment for the 16th between 2-4 p.m., and Fernando would come back out to fix the issue.At roughly 11:00 a.m., Jimmy arrived and told us they were working on another home close by. He assessed and measured the area, and told us he would be back shortly to take care of the issue. Installers installed the end caps, caulked, etc for my upstairs and floor one windows. Looked perfect day of installations for all 14 i bought. Did get warmer during New Years so some sections for caulk where it meets stucco separated in four different sections. I took pics sent to Mike over that weekend, installers returned next business day, fixed and had been perfect ever since regardless of temperature.Literally, they do a phenomenal job and understand customer service. I gladly paid and my check cleared to them fast. They been around in business longer than I have been alive.. And they are very busy for good reason. If you want something done right, you ask a busy person. If you want your windows installed right and to last a long time, you have TRDW sell and install them. They are not home depot.. TRDW are skilled workers, and honest from the salesman to the installers. Common Awning Problems

Remember, regular cleaning and maintenance can prolong the life of your retractable awning. But when repairs become frequent and costly, or the awning no longer meets your needs, it might be more economical to replace it. Always consult with a professional to make the best decision for your home.

This could be due to a problem with the motor, manual crank, or the springs in the arms. If repairs don’t solve the issue, it may be time for a replacement.

This is often caused by a jammed mechanism, a faulty motor, or issues with the tension in the springs. If these problems persist after attempts to fix them, consider replacing your awning.
